For teens and young adults entering the workforce, behavioral therapy and behavioral skills training can be a valuable tool for developing both entry level work skills, and soft skills required for a successful career.
All therapies offered occur either in home or in the community. This lends to a natural incorporation of family and community supports within our sessions.
At Rooted Behavior and Learning, we understand that no one exists in isolation. We are happy to offer sessions tailored specifically for training and development. This will help families and caregivers understand how they can respond to their person's needs with the most effective support and compassion.
As an Intervention Specialist, Abby has extensive experience working with the school systems, and knows firsthand how it can feel like schools are speaking a different language made up of acronyms and policies.
She advocates for her clients' needs across all settings—whether this be schools, daycares, or other therapy agencies.
A collaborative approach is always welcome when it will benefit the client.
We believe deeply in the power of regulation, connection, and the role that these elements play in our ability to grow.
For our young clients, this often includes an unfiltered belief in the power of play.
We believe in looking at the whole child or person within their world to create systems that will support growth and success long after direct therapy is over.
Everyone is welcome here and in our community.
Everyone deserves the chance to grow.
We will never limit therapy eligibility on the basis of age or diagnosis.
