Abby Ludke is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working in Public Schools for nearly a decade.
She founded Rooted Behavior and Learning to provide private and individualized services with two main goals in mind:
To create a practice that prioritizes the clients experience over anything else.
To spread the availability of behavior change therapy, supported through applied behavior analysis, beyond the world of Autism.
This practice was intentionally built to exist outside of the systems of medical insurance or education which can create limitations and barriers to giving individuals the care they need. Outside of these systems, treatment can be guided by clients' needs and preferences-not insurance guidelines or state standards.
Abby has had the privilege of training with a variety of skilled Behavior Analysts who brought in different ideologies and practices. Additionally, she has worked extensively with different Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Pathologists. Incorporating knowledge and strengths from these other fields, through a behavioral approach, comes naturally.
All treatment modalities used within Abby's practice are behavior analytic in nature, supporting the client in gaining the behaviors they need to access all of the reinforcing things around them.
