Functional Communication Training
Experience and access to multiple AAC platforms (LAMP, TD SNAP, Touch Chat with WordPower)
Experience with low-tech AAC
Establishing and meeting early developmental milestones
Targeted through structured behavioral assessment
Encouraging early social emotional and play skills
Determining pre-academic and school readiness
Reinforcement when it comes to building routines, daily living skills, emotional regulation, and self advocacy
For children with intensive communication and/or sensory needs, a certified Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Pathologist may be consulted in development of the treatment targets and appropriate supports. Consent will be obtained prior to any consultation with an outside professional.

Early academic skills taught through direct instruction with systematic error correction
Development of self-management and executive-functioning skills including emotional regulation.
IEP Advocacy services + school coordination
Support in advocating for appropriate IEP goals, Least Restrictive Environments (LRP), and accommodations and modifications within the school setting. Frontline involvement in school based teams typically is guided by the parents' rights as members of the IEP team as outlined in the Ohio Procedural Safeguards.

Abby's Work Based Learning and Career Skills Training services typically include:
Behavioral Skills Training for specific job tasks
Serves individuals who are already employed and in need of support
Career Skills telehealth course with 13 weekly lessons
Designed to be completed prior to obtaining a paid position
Goals can be targeted individually through mastery following completion of the course with additional 1:1 sessions
Establishing individualized goals prior to choosing path/approach
